❋ Who Should AttendInstructor Bio
Damian is a psychologist, qigong lineage holder, and spiritual teacher based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Certified as a qigong instructor in 1999 at age 19, he has been teaching continuously since 2000 and conducting teacher trainings since 2015.
His training spans multiple traditional lineages: 7 Lotus Qigong, 1 Finger Zen Qigong under Sifu Peng Jui Ling, Pak Hok Pai with Sifu Vincent Chow, Nam Pai Chuan with Sifu Christopher Lee, and Alchemical Taoism with Sifu Carlos de León. His foundational training was with Sifu Emir Dupeyron.
Damian teaches qigong as a traditional practice delivered through a scientific framework with deep psycho-emotional emphasis. His approach integrates the Wu Xing (Five Elements) model for shadow work, combining ancient somatic technologies with contemporary psychological understanding. He currently runs Digital Dojo, a daily practice membership community serving a bilingual international audience.
a rare opportunity to: slow down, restore balance, and reconnect with your life force.
Earlier this year, while in Mexico, I had the opportunity to study Qigong with Damian. Although I was first introduced to Qigong nearly 25 years ago, it had been many years since I had practiced consistently. Stepping back into the practice was like reconnecting with an old friend.
There is something deeply nourishing about the fluid, intentional movements of Qigong. They invite a sense of presence and vitality that is both grounding and energizing. After each practice, I feel more alive, more connected, and full of qi—the life energy that Qigong is designed to cultivate.

As someone whose movement foundation is rooted in Pilates, I've come to appreciate how beautifully these two disciplines complement one another. Pilates offers precision, strength, and control, while Qigong invites softness, flow, and effortless movement. Together, they create a balanced approach to moving through life with greater awareness and ease.
I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to welcome Damian to our community and share this practice with you. I hope you'll join us for this special weekend of learning, movement, and connection.
